I'm definitely coughing less and having fewer other issues now that I've cut out grains again. Good decision! Yay! I'm also doing better today than yesterday - less dizzy. However, I still need more carbs, I think. My blood sugar is still adjusting (it has been just a tad high). I'm wondering if niacinamide will help. I don't want to be nervous or wired. However, niacinamide sometimes helps my body use carbs, so maybe it will be good. I'll try it out and see. If not, I'll cut out some peanuts and push my carbs up to 125 or 130g/day by the middle of the week. From what I've read, 150g/day is the cut off for being considered a low carb diet. I should go and get my insulin and cortisol levels tested soon. I'm really interested to see what they look like.
