Windy

While it has been quite windy here, our power hasn't gone out! (* knocks on wood *) In other news, the Portuguese cabbage is bolting, so it is time to start cutting it back. I'm going to see if it will regrow, since one of the other plants did after the arborists cut it down. I also need to prune the grape vine and the fig tree before it gets much warmer. I'll put it on the schedule for next week.

Is there a discussion on the root cause of the outages? Like sake on the lines, trees not trimmed back, etc?

We locally get a lot of wind and no outages, so it seems strange for you to get the number you do 🤷

My guess would be that Portugal was, and perhaps still is, a poor country where every single thing takes forever to get done. So, probably it was a lack of maintenance, since we are out (kind of) in the country.
