lillilahWell, between our friend Sadie, the AI, and my friend Fernando encouraging me, I decided to go to the hospital yesterday, where I spent three or four hours hanging out with a huge family. The grandfather was ill, so every member of the extended family was there in the waiting room. I had a powerbank to charge my phone, so they all borrowed it. It was funny. So, yeah. I got a tetanus shot and a prescription for antibiotics.
Today, we went to the lawyer, who was incredibly helpful. She will send a letter to the dog's owner saying that he has ten days to fix the situation so that the dog can't get out of the yard, or we'll take other steps to resolve the issue. She says she'll also call and tell him that we don't want money or to cause problems, just to be able to walk down the road without getting bitten. So, hopefully, that will fix things. If not, we'll deal with it. I'm determined to get this all resolved with.
