I did it! My menu generator (based on pre-inputted groups of food without quantities) correctly assigns quantities based on my carb, protein, fat, and dinner food weight requirements. That is already great, but now, if it can't get enough carbs based on the list of foods that I gave it, it will choose a food with plenty of carbs from the database (based on a table of preferences and whether I want an automated program to use that food) and stick that food into the program, recalculating everything to come up with a menu that does satisfy the requirements. Yay!!!!!!!!! I am so pleased. At some point, I'll probably take another step toward having the program choose all the foods in the menu, but I'm thrilled that at the moment it does this correctly. Yay!!!!!!!
