Fasting

On Saturday, I went to get the medicine for the (virtual) colonoscopy, but the testing center was closed. There was a lot of running around, and ultimately, I managed to only get my stomach pain medicine refilled. So, today, I went to pick it up, and they were open! And packed with people. Anyway, that's done, although it was uncomfortable for a bit, as here on day 2 of altered diet (and now actual fasting) my intestines are really grouchy. Luckily, I know where bathrooms are near the testing center. Anyway, now, I'm calmly reminding myself again and again that I'm not allowed to eat anything, as my brain keeps suggesting that perhaps I should have some food. I have another hour before I'll take the night time medicine, and then I can get ready for bed. I'm looking forward to eating tomorrow, but we've decided not to bring food to the testing center, as we expect that my stomach will completely freak out once I start eating, and it is better to wait until I get home for that.
