Getting stuff done

Now that we are done with the immigration stuff for the time being, I've gotten started on some of the other things that need to be done. The most fun part is painting the walls. Today, I put the first coat on all the easy spots that don't require moving a lot of furniture or a ladder. Tomorrow, I'll try to finish those up. I may also be able to do a bit in the bathroom, as the part right above the tile is pretty easily accessible and will need two coats of paint. We'll need to move Joel's couch for me to paint the wall behind it and will need to bring in the ladder, as there is no way I can reach the ceiling without it. I'm really looking forward to getting all of it painted, although there are places that are going to need yearly work, I think, as there are cracks that are shifting upstairs. I don't think the whole thing is going to come down on us, but it will probably need a bit more mortar off and on.

I've also made some progress on the book review website (https://cspbooks.net/). Right now, you have to click on the picture of the book to get to the review, although I'll fix that tomorrow. It is not done, as there are a bunch of bits that are just kind of thrown on the page. However, it is usable. I need to fix a lot of the formatting. I also need to decide if I should have any links for the readers that link authors or series. Right now, I think no. It isn't that hard to search on a page for the author's name. Oh, and I need to add an archive. Right now, it isn't important, but I think that more than 10 or 15 links to reviews on the front page may be a bit much. I'll have an archive page that divides them up by year, or maybe month and year, since I read a lot of books.
