Mortar and Immigration

lillilahI finished putting the mortar on the walls! Yay! It took a lot of time to get it to stick to the crumbling parts, but it is done. We didn't get every little crack patched in the bathroom, but it is enough. Now, I need to wait 2 weeks for it to cure before I can paint. That's fine, because....
We heard from the immigration people. In a bit less than 2 weeks, we have an appointment. Happily, the appointments are at a reasonable time, in a reasonable place, and we will both be in the same location. Phew! So, now we need to upload a bunch of paperwork before the appointment. Joel sent in all the paperwork for our Portuguese taxes to the accountant, so hopefully they'll be done in time.
Not too much else going on. My heart issues in the afternoons are still happening, but were less today. Hopefully, I can convince my body that I'm not actually in danger, upset, or whatever. I'm hoping that with an end to the immigration stuff on the horizon, everything will calm down. I'll make an appointment for the virtual colonoscopy (I guess it is an abdominal CAT scan) after the appointment is over.
