Today was another installment of the monthly guided meditation that I'm doing. You do a guided meditation and then spend the rest of the month meditating on whatever the thing was that you did the meditation on. I just finished earth, water, air, and fire. It was fun and much better for working on visualization and focus in meditation than just trying to keep your mind blank. For example, when meditating on air, you can imagine flying. I have a bunch more meditations to go in this book, but I think I may do another set of guided meditations after this. I could make my own too. We'll see. There are books of this type on the major arcana of the tarot, which would be fun. I think I would do one a week, maybe. There are probably other kinds of things too. It is interesting to think about all the fun things I could do. I mean, why not? Meditation doesn't have to be dour or unhappy. I'll see how I feel about this later, but if I start doing my own guided meditations, I may start a blog or podcast.
