Accessories

Accessories often seem to make an outfit. I don't really have outfits. I put on some clothing and then am not naked. But I would like to look like I have a sense of style, and I would like to look good in that style. And have it represent who I feel like I am. Or at least, have it not say things about me that I feel aren't true. For me, "artistic" is more accurate than "conservative". "Relaxed" is more representative than "sophisticated". I don't really feel like "frilly", "pastel", "delicate", or "floral" are things that would make me happy. (I'm trying to not use gendered or really judgemental language about clothing, since I think it is bullshit to say that only certain people are allowed to express themselves in a certain way.) I just spent like three hours trying to figure out how to embellish fabrics and create accessories, so that I can have actual outfits. I have a whole bunch of images now of fabric cuff/bracelet designs. Next, I should look at what beads, embroidery floss, and cool buttons I've got.
