Good news!

In good news, our new door and windows will be installed on Monday. Yay!!! I'm not super into a really fancy house, but at the same time, I love our house, so I want it to be nice. This will be a huge upgrade for us, with real screens, real blinds, windows that don't leak (* crosses fingers *), and a door that seals, so we will hopefully have fewer tiny critters wandering into the house. Joel painted yesterday and then moved the fridge, so he can do painting today. The kitchen looks pretty nice. :) Since the fridge has been moved, I want to seal the floor where it used to be. To do that, we need to fill in all the places where the grout has come out between the (completely unfinished in any way) rocks that make up the floor. It turns out we have grout that will work, so soonish (next week?) we'll hopefully work on getting that whole thing resolved. Joel has also identified some really big, slate-like tiles for our shower, which we can also hopefully get installed soonish. And he's also going to work on getting our order of wood to make the armoire delivered. As you can see, there is a whole bunch to do. I'm pretty low energy at the moment (cut back a little on how much I was eating so that I can hopefully lose some weight), but I think I can still do what needs to be done.
