Surprisingly exhausting

Today was pretty productive. I reorganized my menu, swapping out vegetables like cauliflower and cabbage for chayote and bok choi, since they are in season here. I am happy about being able to tailor my eating to the seasons. Maybe eventually we'll get out to the farmer's market nearby.

In other news, I also dyed the towels. It took quite a while and was exhausting. I'm not used to spending so much time crouching and otherwise standing in weird positions and squirting dye at things. I really hope that they will turn out. I have no idea what they will look like, as of right now. I have to remember that if they don't turn out, I can add more dye.
