I am now, finally, starting to recover from school. It has taken a month, but I'm starting to be able to process carbs again. Interestingly, neither losing the ability nor regaining it has been an especially gradual process. When I lost it, I had to quickly go from 88g of carbs per day to 42g. Now, in the course of just a few days, I'm already back up to about 65g, and I'm dizzy, unable to think, and having trouble with my knees collapsing (which means I need more carbs). It feels like a switch has been flipped somewhere, and suddenly my body is demanding carbohydrates again. I wish I knew more about the way bodies work. I feel like this could be an important data point, but I am not really able to do anything with it. At least, not at the moment.
