We fed the cat! There was also another cat there, perhaps a lady cat, but she didn't stay. It was just Community Cat. Once again tomorrow, we will be going early to deal with house business. I did pretty well today, though. I'm considering shifting my schedule to be earlier (getting into bed at 8pm, sleeping by 10pm, getting up at 8am) so that I don't have to suffer when someone suggests doing something early in the day. It doesn't make _that_ much of a difference.
In other news, the pest control guy said that there is a lot of wood that needs to be removed, but the old wood that we love is oak and is okay. So, we need to get the contractor to do that too. We've asked the contractor when we can make an appointment to get the estimate. Once we have that appointment, we'll find another company and get an appointment with them for an estimate. Then, we'll choose one, and off we go!
Today, for the first time, I took the bus to the house from the train station. It isn't a bad bus ride at all, and the walk from the bus stop to the house is just fine too (all downhill, which means that going the other way will be more work).
