Book Commentary: Rogue Protocol by Martha Wells
Publisher: Tor Publishing Group, 2018-07-08
Number of Pages: 160
Summary: The main character, Murderbot, tries to find some dirt on the company that turned on it in the first book to help the person who set it free.
Thoughts: Excellent. While the previous book had Murderbot forming relationships with other non-human entities, this book had it watching the relationship between a robot and a human who genuinely care about each other. The book ends with Murderbot deciding to go back to the person who set it free, perhaps out of a feeling of friendship or caring. The main character is definitely being shown becoming more aware of its feeling.
Other Books: Of course, I will keep reading this series.
