A plan?

I'm considering not going to the endocrinologist so long as my blood sugar, cholesterol, and health in general is under control. My endocrinologist in Russia said that she was technically required to tell me to take blood sugar medicine, even though I don't need it. My dad was told something similar. I don't want to have to deal with that again, plus I don't see the point of paying for a doctor who I don't need to see. So far, none of my experiences with endocrinologists indicate that they are going to have a lot of insight into my condition, so I think that avoiding the stress and fuss might be the right way to go. I'll talk to my primary care doctor (maybe) (when I get one) and my psychologist about this.

blood sugar medicine

I just wonder if the upper control limit changed? I recall my family doctor pointing that out, but don’t recall the limit. Maybe start there with your discussions, to see the longer term consequences?

If I am having a doctor tell me that she is required to tell me to take a medication that she says I should not be taking, this means there is a problem with the medical system, not with my blood sugar.

Ahhh, I get the track you're laying down. Seems to be a fair assessment.
