Paint and paper

Today was pretty nice. I went out in the afternoon to help a friend work on her novel. She had implied that it was a giant mess, but in fact, she has a really good story that just needs some help wrapping up at the end. I think this kind of thing is a lot of fun, so I really enjoyed it.

I also painted the cabinet doors and the paper that I'll do the art on with the sand-colored paint that I'm using as the backgrounds. I really look forward to getting to the art stage of this, so I'm really excited to work on this.
