Things are going pretty well, all things considered. I discovered that if I nap while my food is cooking after I get back from class, I'm more able to do stuff during the rest of the day. I've made slow progress on a bunch of projects, but this afternoon, I ran out of umph. This is the fourth day in a row, though, and even though class today was just tai chi and stretching, that is still a lot for me. So, I'm going to be resting and playing video games for the rest of the day. Luckily, dinner prep is fairly simple tonight.

I should have perhaps thought ahead this morning when I saw that my blood sugar was 4.4 (lower than my normal 4.8 or 4.9) and guessed that I wasn't going to feel up to doing a lot. I don't have much in terms of plans for the next two days, though, so I had hoped that I could just make it through. Nope. Monday, as far as I know, is just going to be blood tests, which isn't all that much work. So, I should have enough time to rest (and maybe do some crocheting or sewing) over the next few days. It is chilly here, and I want to upgrade my wardrobe a little. We'll see how much energy I have. Since I am able to stay home and rest now, functionality tomorrow might be possible. We'll see!

Thanks for finding me

Welcome to Dreamwidth,

I would think the Tai Chi would be more helpful for sustained energy, although stretching can cause more fatigue than people might recognize. I've found Power naps can be magical.

I'm interested to hear how (if?) Halloween/Dia de los Muertos is celebrated over there!
