Tired but okay
Nov. 16th, 2022 09:26 pmI'm definitely more worn out today, but not so much that I'm just dragging. Today featured a lot of the usual, walk, flashcards, working on the computer hutch, cutting out some fabric for sewing, etc. I actually took the monitor and fitted it into the hutch today to get the cabinet doors set up right. In general, it fit pretty well, although the base will stick out a bit further than I thought it would. While that means that I'll have to add a bit more onto the front in one spot, it isn't so bad. I've decided that I'll make that little front part out of wood instead of cardboard, as I was a bit worried that over time the cardboard wouldn't support the base enough. With a bit of wood under the front, I won't have to worry. Also, the shelf that I was going to put under the edge of the monitor screen won't fit. The screen is wider there than at the top and has either vents or speakers there, so covering it would be bad. It doesn't seem like it will be an issue at all to not have the shelf there, since it was just to cover the bottom of the monitor. The bottom doors that go across the monitor base have been cut and look good. The top ones are going to need a bit more adjustment, but I think they will work too. I think I'll try cutting and attaching the piece of wood tomorrow.
