I feel less frantic this evening. This morning, instead of sitting in my dark corner of happiness and going about my normal morning routine, I went out for a walk in the sunshine and sat on a bench down by the river to study Portuguese flashcards for a while. While I think that this is really helpful for me, it is also a big change in routine, so I'm taking some time to adjust. I did get stuff done today, although there were more moments of me staring off into space, trying to figure out what the heck I was doing. One of the things that my change in routine has done is force me to deal with the mobile internet situation. In Russia, I think my internet was capped at 1GB a day for the cheap plan I had. Here, it is 200MB a month. That is obviously quite a lot less. I don't think I even realized for quite a while that that was per month. I could see 200MB per day... but for a month? Really? Anyway, all the plans with more internet have more phone minutes. I don't need phone minutes. So, what I am trying to do (and I don't know if this will work) is going with their "pay as you go" plan, where I pay per minute for phone calls, and also subscribing to a monthly "additional internet" plan. I can't tell if this will work, since one is pay as you go and one isn't, but since there are no stores for this cell service near us and since the one near the place I'm going tomorrow is only open on weekdays, I decided just to set things up on the website to change to this scheme and see what happens.

In other news, I now have three of the eight needed drawers for the computer hutch cut out. I decided to just do them as single pieces and bend the cardboard, rather than cutting out a whole bunch of bottoms, sides, fronts, and backs. It means that I need larger pieces of cardboard. However, it is much less work, plus it allows me to see if a drawer fits the opening for it before I start gluing. Since I didn't go out of my way to make the cubbies for the drawers perfectly even, the drawers need a bit of modification to get them to fit correctly. It isn't too bad, though, and it isn't like we are low on cardboard. We also got another couch cushion finished (I sewed button holes, and Joel sewed on the buttons). I am much more tired tonight than I have been (probably a good thing), so that's it for now.
