I started doing yoga, which completely threw off my diet. I'm not doing some kind of hour-long power yoga. I'm doing ten minutes of beginner-level morning yoga, in part because I'm not flexible and in part because my muscles are super weak. However, that was enough to make my body demand more food, although I wasn't sure what exactly it wanted. For a while, things were annoying, but it looks like I've finally gotten close to figuring out how much I should be eating (maybe about 150 calories more than before, with even amounts in carbs and protein, plus some fat).

Hopefully, this will help me get that sorted out. It would be especially useful, as I've got more immigration stress coming up. We got our permanent residency last Tuesday, which is great. Yesterday, we went to the lawyer and found out that we don't have until December to update our place of residency registration (when the old one runs out). Instead, we have seven working days from when we got permanent residency, which means Thursday. The place that does registrations is closed on Wednesday, which means that Thursday is the only day we can do it. On top of that, our landlord has to come with us. * sigh * Luckily, he can make it, and the lawyer will prepare all the paperwork for us, so hopefully it will all work out.

Going back to food news, since my blood sugar has been low for a while and since I was having all these other food issues, I gave in and ate extra dates a couple of nights ago. They are delicious but very high carb. I felt terrible after eating them (chest pain and anxiety). I ate one extra date yesterday morning and felt anxious and dissatisfied after. So, I'm not doing that again. Instead, I'm going to try adding lentils into my diet. My lunch doesn't have a lot of carbs, and it seems like I would really benefit from eating more of my nutrients earlier in the day. So, lentils with lunch. I'm going to try it out today, since I don't have any appointments today which means that any stomach/digestive problems won't be inflicted on anyone besides me and Joel. Hopefully, it will work out, and I'll be able to permanently add lentils to my lunch, as I've done with pea soup for breakfast.
