I'm pretty anxious. I still think it is the seasonal change. I did get through writing some of the story I wanted to write. It isn't done, but I'll work on it more at the writers group. So, I'm not anxious about that. At the moment, I am fixating on my appointment with my endocrinologist (which is probably for the best, because I have a dentist appointment the next day, and it is better to think about something that I need to think about as opposed to just stressing). I spent some time with a medical AI, which helped a lot coming up with some questions to ask. I'm thinking about writing up a little summary of my blood sugar issues, so that I don't have to do it off the top of my head when I'm talking to the doctor.
In other news, photos show that the roof of the house is done, and the workers are hard at work on the upper story. (I guess it makes sense to start at the top and work their way down.)
In yet other news, I have finally giving up on reading The Ten Thousand Doors of January with my eyes, as I am just not getting through it. I think it is just a bit too depressing to get me to happily dive in, even though it is a fantastic book. So, I'm now listening to it as an audio book. Some day, I will be done. I also have done this with The Moonstone, which is just long and old. To accommodate these audio books, I'm also forcing myself to go on longer walks. Or I did today. I hope I will continue. I did not feel great after, but I really do need the exercise. I'm hoping that the endocrinologist will be able to help with this.
