Another busy Saturday
Mar. 4th, 2023 10:07 pmAs usual, it has been a busy Saturday, although it was fun, as always. My new project is to try out a website called Rate Your Music (rateyourmusic.com). Supposedly, it has good suggestions to help you find music that you will like. I could really use that. I also finally pulled myself together and reorganized the books I'm reading now. I got most of the way through the third book of The Expanse series before my library loan expired (in large part due to me not reading the book, because it wasn't working for me). I did reserve it again, but it will take a month or more for me to actually get the book, so that needed to come off the list. I also had a book on alchemy on there, but the book was just completely incomprehensible. I think the author was a bit too impressed by his own mysticism. So, that needed to come off. I replaced it with a book on protection magic that I'm reading for a story I am writing. The mystery I wanted to read (The Thin Man) is still on hold at the library, so I replaced it with a book that I have. When I went back to look for a sci-fi book, I found that the library had A Psalm For The Wild-Built by Becky Chambers, so I grabbed that before it ended up with a list of holds stretching out into infinity. So, now I have plenty to read!
