Health law in Russia and My general health
Jan. 3rd, 2022 10:58 pmI realize that I didn't post anything about the new health law here, so here is the progression:
* Article 1
* Article 2
* Article 3
(TL;DR: Foreigners will have to get health tests every three months. People are not happy.)
There have been no updates. I assume that in part this is because everyone is off for the holidays. Hopefully there will be some new news at some point.
Other than that, I have gotten worse over the last few days. My stomach is all fussy, and I'm having trouble walking. One guess is that I have some kind of stomach illness and that my body is using extra carbs to fight it, so I'm running out of energy to power my muscles. I've eaten a bit more carbs today and am hoping that I'll feel better tomorrow.
We're still working on getting rid of our stuff. However, Joel did just order the third of the Dragonlance books in Russian. He picked one of them up years ago and has wanted to complete the collection. I have books that I don't want to get rid of either, so I understand. Hopefully, we'll be able to get all of our stuff moved without too much misery. We're definitely going to rent a storage unit on our first visit to Lisbon. We'll bring a couple of suitcases of stuff with us. If we like the city, we'll pack the stuff from the suitcases into boxes to leave in storage. Hopefully, a few trips like that will be enough to get the majority of our stuff moved. Obviously, we won't be able to move furniture, but we don't own much anyway.
