Goin' along

We are definitely well into autumn here, and I'm definitely not feeling it this year. Of course, it is lovely, and we've had some fantastic days where the trees are all golden, and the air is cool. It is definitely nice. However, I'm just not ready. Don't get me wrong. I don't want it to be summer anymore. It was far too hot here. It is just that winter is coming, and I'm not excited about it. Our guess is that I'm ready for the pandemic to be over so that we can travel again and generally just get on with lots of the stuff that we can't do now.

While I'm not terribly happy about that, I am happy about writing. I've made progress on all of my stories recently and even have one that could be finished in less than a month. A miracle! It is pretty short, less than 15,000 words. It will be nice to be able to publish something that is finished. It will also be nice to get started on one of the other stories that I've been holding off on. The three long works that I'm in the middle of still have years to go (my favorite may have only a year to go, but I wouldn't bet money on it.).

My website projects are going well. The travel website is really shaping up nicely. I have another website project that I'm starting work on, but I think I'll wait and talk about that later. I want to see how well it works before I talk more about it.
