What You Miss
Jan. 27th, 2018 05:11 pmJoel is out with a new roleplaying group! I'm so excited about it! They are playing D&D 5, which is less my thing than Pathfinder, but still.... It will be in Russian, we think, which is great too, although a little daunting. Now, you might notice that I'm writing this as though I'm not with Joel. That's because the stress of trying to deal with going was too much. Next time, it won't be exactly at dinner time (I can't miss meals), so hopefully I'll be able to make it then.
There are people who get the idea that being disabled is fun, that I sit at home not doing stuff because I'm lazy and this is the good life. This post is just a little reminder that I can't be out there enjoying one of my most favorite hobbies, because I can't cope with leaving the house to get there. That isn't fun or cool. Nothing about being so sick that you can't function is fun or cool. I'm not saying that people should feel sorry for me, because they shouldn't, but please don't think that being disabled is fun.
