Coat of Arms

As mentioned previously, I decided that I wanted a coat of arms for stenciling on boxes. Because building half a dozen trunks for our closet isn't enough work. Anyway, we thought about it for a while, and this is the final product:

We really love Perm's bear with a bible on his back, but the bible part isn't very important to us, so we went with a book. The star is for me, and the drum sticks are for Joel. The caribou is moving forward. He is kind and happy and also curious. And stupid with his tongue sticking out.

I'm really happy with how the book turned out. I was also happy when I remembered that unlike when I drew the web comic, I don't need to be able to accurately redraw the caribou from memory. I'll make a three or four color stencil to paint him on the boxes.

Now, I need to decide if my next project will be the temporary Dreamwidth theme or if I should work on the tattoo or maybe get some power tools to make those trunks....
