All the little things

I was all ready to go out on a walk when I realized that I hadn't eaten lunch yet (at 4pm), so I've now done that, but I've also realized that I should probably work on weeding the garden, so I'll probably do that instead of a walk (although I would prefer a walk, I think). I think I'm going to order some succulents online, since I'd really like to replace the plants in the rectangular windowbox style planters with all kinds of interesting succulents, which use way less water, are more sun tolerant, and are more attractive (in my opinion). I've also decided to make a couple long-sleeve sun shirts that are light enough to not be super hot but at the same time will make it so that I don't need sunscreen. I liked having a sun umbrella a lot and would use that instead, but it just doesn't work with my walking sticks, since I don't have a free hand to hold it. That's okay. So, the next step there is to order the fabric. I had hoped to work on cutting out my satchel today, but that isn't going to happen. Oh, well. Anyway, now it is time to run out and work on the yard.
